Jupiter Systems Launches Catalyst™ Flare Video Wall Processor
Next-Generation Successor to Catalyst V Delivers Advanced Performance, Windows 11, and Enhanced Canvas Software
Hayward, CA, February 2, 2026: Jupiter Systems, a global leader in visualization and collaboration solutions, today announced the launch of Catalyst Flare, its next-generation video wall processor designed for small to medium-sized visualization projects. Catalyst Flare succeeds the widely deployed Catalyst V, delivering a modernized platform with significant performance, software, and graphics advancements to meet today’s most demanding AV and control room environments.
Designed from the ground up, Catalyst Flare combines a compact, ultra-quiet 4RU form factor with a selection of powerful 5th Gen Intel® Xeon®, a new graphics platform, and native Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC support. These enhancements provide customers with a future-ready foundation for complex video wall applications while maintaining reliability and ease of deployment for which the Catalyst family is known.
“Catalyst Flare represents a major step forward for the Catalyst platform,” said Craig Stumbaugh, Vice President of Sales at Jupiter Systems. “As the successor to Catalyst V, it delivers a modern operating system, enhanced graphics performance, and deeper Canvas software integration. The Flare gives our customers more flexibility, scalability, and confidence as visualization requirements continue to grow.”
Built for Performance and Flexibility
Catalyst Flare supports up to 16 4K outputs and 16 4K inputs, with the ability to decode 120+ concurrent streams, making it ideal for environments that require high-density content visualization. The processor is compatible with LCD, LED, projection, and cube display technologies, and is certified for Pana 21:9 displays at native 5K resolution, enabling immersive single-canvas experiences.
Key hardware and performance highlights include:
- Intel® Xeon® W7/W5/W3 processors
- Up to 256GB RAM
- DisplayPort™ 0 output architecture
- HDCP 2 and 2.3 compliance
- RAID 1 with hot spare and redundant power supply options
- Ultra-quiet operation suitable for conference rooms and control spaces
Enhanced Canvas® Software Experience
Catalyst Flare features Canvas control software with enhanced capabilities, enabling intuitive control, layout management, and real-time visualization across video walls. The system supports standalone Canvas deployments or integration with Canvas Enterprise, as well as web, VNC, and application-based content sources.
With built-in support for DirectX® 12 and OpenGL®, Catalyst Flare delivers smooth rendering of complex visual content while providing long-term platform stability through Windows 11 LTSC.
Designed for Modern AV Environments
Engineered for flexibility and reliability, Catalyst Flare can be installed in a standard AV rack and operates quietly enough for in-room installations. This makes it well-suited for corporate visualization spaces, control rooms, broadcast environments, education, and simulation applications.
The Catalyst Flare is available now for pre-order for shipping later this year. For more information, visit www.jupiter.com or email sales@jupiter.com
