Jupiter Systems Delivers Windows 11 Support for Catalyst Wall Processors with Canvas 7.0.4

A 45-year innovator in operational display technology brings modern OS compatibility and enterprise-grade security to command-and-control environments worldwide

Hayward, CA | March 19, 2026 Jupiter Systems, a global leader in visualization and operational display solutions with more than 25,000 installations across 90+ countries, today announced the release of Canvas 7.0.4, a landmark software update that delivers long-awaited Windows 11 compatibility across the entire Catalyst family of display wall processors.

For over 45 years, Jupiter has been first to market with the innovations that define the operational display industry, from the first multi-window video wall in 1981 to the first collaborative visualization software in 2012. Canvas 7.0.4 continues that tradition, giving customers the modern infrastructure foundation they need to keep mission-critical environments running at the forefront of performance and security.

Windows 11 Is Here for the Full Catalyst Family

Canvas 7.0.4 adds official support for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 across Jupiter’s complete lineup of Catalyst display wall processors, including the Catalyst XL, Catalyst V, Catalyst Element, and the CRS-5K™ system. These purpose-built, mission-critical processors power some of the world’s most demanding command-and-control environments, and customers have been eager to align them with current Microsoft operating system standards.

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 remains fully supported through 2032, allowing organizations to upgrade on their own timeline without disruption to operations. Canvas Server environments also gain Windows Server 2022 compatibility with this release.

Built for the Security Demands of Operational Environments

The operational rooms Jupiter serves — control rooms, command centers, NOCs, SOCs, and beyond — demand the highest levels of security. Canvas 7.0.4 delivers a comprehensive set of enterprise security enhancements developed in response to rigorous third-party vulnerability testing. Key improvements include TLS 1.3 support, Secure Mode configuration using Certificate Authority-issued SSL/TLS certificates, cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection, configurable JWT session token expiration, and updated core libraries throughout the platform. A new Security Utility simplifies the configuration of these options for IT administrators.

These additions build on Canvas’s existing enterprise security capabilities — including Active Directory integration, single sign-on Windows authentication, SSL-encrypted communication, HLS encrypted sources, SNMP traps, and advanced audit logging — making Canvas 7.0.4 the most secure release in the platform’s history.

The Power of Canvas, Now on Windows 11

The Catalyst family runs Canvas, Jupiter’s powerful collaboration software platform. Canvas enables operators to manage and display virtually any source — IP cameras, web applications, VNC remote desktops, Windows applications, media, and more — on a single display wall, with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, saved layout presets, and full API support. With Canvas 7.0.4, all of this capability is now available on Windows 11, giving organizations a future-ready platform that doesn’t compromise on performance or security.
