Active Matrix Mini-LED
Almost all LED displays in the world use a passive matrix driver technology. This technology individually addresses each LED pixel by pixel., row by row. This technology limits the speed and frequency each LED is able to refresh. With Zavus being the world’s only active-matrix solution, we are able to address all pixels simultaneously, frequently and repeatedly. This means Zavus refreshes 4x faster than the competing LEDs significantly reducing eye strain and overall power consumption.

Problem with Video Conferencing? Eye Contact.
Video conferencing was originally intended to be an alternative to face-to-face communication. Typically, it was an option to avoid travel and to allow globally disparate teams to connect and work together more effectively. Today as we’re emerging from the pandemic, clearly it has become the alternative. And while the quality of video conferencing technology has exponentially increased over the years, unfortunately the experience has plummeted in the opposite direction.
As larger and larger display screens have been introduced in conference rooms and direct view LED walls have superseded and replaced large format monitors, the position of the video camera placement has only gotten worse. With cameras typically installed or mounted near the edges of these very large displays, the camera lens can no longer capture the pixels directly where the viewers are looking into and as a result it’s destroying one of the single most critical components of communication: eye contact.
The Solution:
Embedded Cameras
Jupiter recognized this problem and became the world’s first company to embed multiple, tiny, invisible cameras directly in inside the LEDs. By placing cameras inside the mini LEDs strategically in the optimal viewing locations means that eye contact can be convincingly captured and the whole connection experience of video conference can be more realistic.

Unlimited Contrast
One million to one—that’s the extreme contrast ratio for Zavus, brilliant beyond pixels. Virtually unlimited contrast ensures no detail is lost anywhere especially in the shadows and able to withstand bright interior spaces. Color richness you need to see.
Unlike traditional LED displays where there is one LED for every pixel, Zavus mini-LED is made up of an array of multiple smaller LEDs taking up the same space the single pixel used to occupy. This results in finer, richer and more unprecedented reproduction of all the colors and shades in your images.
Zero Eye Strain
Brilliant colors, preeminent and surreal contrast, supreme brightness, impeccable uniformity, Zavus active matrix leapfrogs the current passive matrix technology with a 240Hz vs 60Hz refresh rate respectively.
That means direct view Mini-LED delivers no scan lines, no eye fatigue, and all thrill. With the highest speed refresh rate of any display of its kind, Zavus is 4x faster than the standard 60f Hz refresh rate of displays makes the whole visual experience more vivid, realistic and last longer without eye strain.

Unmatched Total Cost of Ownership
The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is a real consideration when trying to reduce a corporation’s overhead expenses and carbon footprint. Designed with intelligent service and quick installation features, Zavus consumes 2.5x to 4x less power than legacy LED technology. This reduction in heat significantly reduces HVAC infrastructure requirements and over time, Zavus will cost far less to operate compared to older display technologies.
