Booth #3235
Orlando, Florida InfoComm 2009 – June 17, 2009 -- Jupiter Systems (www.jupiter.com), the industry leader in display wall processors, today announced announced the launch of its new low cost, high performance PixelNet 4+1 Bundle for smaller, more price sensitive control centers. The new product will be offered at a special promotion price through September 30, 2009.
“Jupiter Systems is well known as the industry leader in high performance display wall processing,” said Brady O. Bruce, VP of Marketing and Strategic Alliances at Jupiter. “But Jupiter has also always offered cost-effective solutions for smaller, more price-sensitive projects. Jupiter’s latest promotion offers resellers and their customers access to the same high level of performance, quality, reliability – and scalability – of all Jupiter Display Wall Processors – at a very attractive price. This is particularly important during these recessionary times.”
Jupiter resellers will now be able to select any four PixelNet input nodes (including DVI Input Node, Analog HD Input Node, SDI Input Node, and Quad SD Input Node) as part of the bundle. Also included in the bundle is a PixelNet TeamMate Output Node, a 24-port switch, and one copy of PixelNet Domain Control (PDC) software that allows the installation of four inputs with a single Jupiter display.
Promotion Details
The new PixelNet 4+1 Bundle is priced at $6,300. Customers anticipating growing their installation in the future, may substitute a 48-port switch in the bundle order for $500 more, bringing the bundle cost to $6,800. (Otherwise, no substitutions are allowed.) Any other products appended to the order will be available at the appropriate contracted reseller price. There is a limit of three PixelNet 4+1 Bundles on any single purchase order.
The PixelNet 4+1 Bundle promotion will expire on 30 September, 2009. To qualify for this special offer, all orders must be received by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on 30 September 2009.
Some Additional Background
Growth in demand for high performance visualization products at more modest price points has exploded in the past 18 months. The availability of lower-cost display technology (such as inexpensive LCDs), and an explosion of information resources– coupled with the impact of the recession and an infusion of funds around the world for new infrastructure– have created enormous demand for new low priced, high performance products.
Jupiter’s new family of PixelNet® Display Wall Processors utilizes gigabit Ethernet technology and offers high performance visualization--from the most modest display wall to the most robust. The new PixelNet 4+1 Bundle allows an organization with a modest budget to start with a small control system of 4 inputs and scale that system up to hundreds or even thousands of inputs over time, using the same installed product. All of PixelNet processors are highly scalable yet have a small footprint.
